Passover 2019 (5779)

Like everyone else (including Moses-in-Manhattan, above), Shabbat Mom is trying not to panic over tonight's raucous in-gathering of the exiles, the Jewish version of Super-Bowl Sunday. Yet all that is required is telling our kids about the Exodus from Egypt: the playbook may have a new cover, but the powerful and resonant story about the birth of our Jewish peoplehood always remains the same.
