Yom Kippur 5778
Tomorrow we will read the description of the way in which Aaron, the Kohen Gadol, clad in the purest white, entered the Holy of Holies to atone not only for his own sins but for those of the entire people. Of the two goats he had chosen, one was sacrificed; the other, upon whose head Aaron confessed transgressions, was sent out into the wilderness. On this Day of Atonement, when we pray fervently for forgiveness, may we spiritually repurpose ourselves for the year ahead. May we be sealed, along with our loved ones, in the Book of Life. Shabbat Shalom! Hatima Tova!
